Are content strategists the key to our digital future?
I’ve been thinking a lot about the dumpster fire we live in with tech, and I wonder if content strategists can help resolve the ethical and privacy woes we’re experiencing. It’s a lot to ask, but content strategists bring skills to tech that might just mitigate some of its worst tendencies.

I’m not sure about Apple, anymore
I’ve been a devoted Apple user for 20 years, dating back to when Apple devices were relatively rare. Apple’s lineup has been uninspiring in recent years. I’ve been holding onto aging devices, and I’m considering a change.

“The da Vinci of data” was in Portland for a one-day course on data visualization, cartography, statistics, presentations, and more. I had high expectations; Tufte surpassed them.

Tarkovsky’s Andrei Rublev
This film, unlike many that receive the title, is truly epic. It’s one of the few films I own, and I’ve been lucky enough to see it once on the big screen at the Portland Film Festival. A restored version is about to be released to both theaters and video.
